Major Cities' Cutting-Edge Approaches
(2) ANMC21 "Exhibition of Pictures Drawn by Children in Asia" Displayed!
From February 14th to 28th 2011, the Asian Network of Major Cities 21 (ANMC21) held a gallery exhibiting pictures drawn by children from member cities.

As the fifth installment of the exhibition, 82 works were chosen from among those displayed at previous ANMC21 Plenary meetings. With themes including the "Environment", "Fascinating places in my town," "Sports", and "My favorite things," unhampered creativity and colorful illustration came together in a collection of work showcasing the unique talents of the children.
When all the works were displayed in one location, artistic differences between cities in the depiction of the sun, sky, people, and places invited curiosity from spectators visiting the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office as soon as the exhibition began its setup. Promotion such as descriptions of ANMC21 projects and panels introducing member cities were also held at the exhibition to let many citizens know the cooperation among the Asian cities.
The pictures put on display, as well as those from past exhibition, have been posted on the ANMC21 website for public viewing.
