Ms. Akiko Miyazaki, Member of the Secretariat of the Asian Network of Major Cities 21

Flood, Storm Surge and Tsunami Control Workshop carried out by the TMG

The participants from Bangkok and Seoul joined in the Flood, Storm Surge and Tsunami Control Workshop, which took place from January 22 to January 25, 2013. The workshop focused on the Tokyo's flood control measures and the countermeasures against the damages caused by floods, which are a common issue shared in many Asian cities.
