In August 2013, the Asia Junior Sports Exchange Games were held in Tokyo. Two university-student interns from the ANMC21Secretariat led some cultural exchange events at these games.

The "ANMC21 Tokyo Pavilion" was established at the "Japanese Monozukuri Technology Exhibition" held in Hanoi during September 2013. An ANMC21 staff member responsible for onsite management of the pavilion offers a report on proceedings at the event.
