Following the working level conference in Jakarta, the Asian Network of Major Cities 21 “Promotion of Development of a small to medium-sized Jet Passenger Plane” working level conference was held in Singapore on November 16-17, 2006.
At this 5th working level conference, information focused primarily on the passenger jet development programs currently in progress at heavy industrial manufacturers in Japan were introduced and a lively debate aimed at the future development of an Asian passenger jet took place.
Furthermore, a visit was made to ST Aerospace, the world’s largest aircraft repair, maintenance, overhaul and engineering specialist which is located right next to Singapore International Airport.
