The fantastic digital scroll
○ Digital Scroll
After the sun set, fantastic digital imagery colorfully lit up the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building as a “digital scroll.” A digital scroll uses computers to randomly assemble huge digital images by projecting them onto a building. With 60 projectors in action this was the largest digital scroll ever, and a great number of photographers could be seen excitedly taking pictures of the building.

With other events such as the Asian Cinema Selection showing masterpieces from each country, and the Presentation by International Students from Asia on Advanced Research introducing the production from the international students at the Tokyo Metropolitan University, the area around the Tokyo Government Building was alive with Asian culture for the space of four days.
