In order to urge participating cities to develop disaster-proof communities and enhance their abilities to handle earthquakes, this project provides training and promotes joint research on anti-quake measures to the staff of disaster-control facilities in participating cities.
Participants take lectures and exchange information under the themes of anti-disaster urban development, post-quake urban development, safety of urban structures and administrative response in the immediate aftermath of an earthquake, and also inspect prevention base etc. |
