Sewerage Maintenance and Management Engineers from participating cities are trained in cutting edge sewerage techniques such as sludge resources and in the management and maintenance techniques for sewerage trunk conduits, pumping stations, and waste treatment facilities. Mainly, training is carried out in lecture format concerning the history and schematic structure of the Tokyo Sewerage System, and know-how is provided on sewerage maintenance and management by, in addition to lectures, placing emphasis on question and answer sessions carried out on-site at the applicable facilities.Mainly, the training is in lecture format concerning the history and schematic structure of the Tokyo Sewerage System, and further know-how is provided on sewerage maintenance and management in addition to lectures by conducting on-site hands-on practical training at the applicable facilities.
