Personnel who are engaged in management of waterworks of each
participating city are given training in financial planning(financial system & support plan), and facilities planning(water demand, facilities renovation plan) through the introduction of Tokyo Waterworks,
which has evolved with a self-supporting accounting, as the example,
Additionally, waterworks engineers are given training in the management and maintenance of pipelines(water distribution pipes and water supply pipes)and pipeline renovation plans, and leakage prevention technology and the like.
