The Technical officials from Tokyo Fire Department participated in International Urban Search and Rescue Course in Singapore

The International Urban Search and Rescue Course was held by the Singapore Civil Defense Academy. In this issue, we will interview 2 people from the Tokyo Fire Department attended the training.

Introducing Tokyo's leading ideas regarding sewers:
Training held in Tokyo aimed at advancing Asia's sewer engineering

In October 2012, 4 trainees from Bangkok and Singapore joined the Training of Sewerage Maintenance and Management Engineers. It offered a curriculum that matched the trainees' requests, deepened the mutual understanding between cities, and provided a place for the people of Tokyo to learn many things as well.

To promote attractiveness of tourism in Asia now and future:
Agreement on the implementation of "One Asia Pass"

The Council for Promotion of Tourism in Asia was held in Hanoi in October of 2012. At this meeting, it was agreed that the One Asia Pass, multi-destination tours, would be operated. This was accomplished by the hard work and thorough fine-tuning of the secretariat.

Report on the Asia Junior Sports Exchange Games 2012

At the Asia Junior Sports Exchange Games held in Tokyo, there were players from 19 cities in Asia that took part in heated battles. A key person in charge of handling the events will report on the state of the games and affiliated friendship programs.
