- Tokyo Metropolitan University Opens an Overseas Office in Bangkok, Thailand! -

Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU) established its Bangkok Office in April 2014. In this article, we give details about it. We also report on the office's opening ceremony whose participants included students who had studied at TMU as Asian Human Resources Fund (AHRF) scholarship recipients.

Aiming to Become Urban Search and Rescue Professionals Capable of Acting Globally

Over a two week-period from April 14th, 2014, a "International Urban Search and Rescue Course" training program was conducted in Singapore. We asked both a Singapore staff member who planned the program and two participants from ANMC21 member cities about their feelings on completion of it.

Preparing for the Success of the Thirteenth Asian Network of Major Cities 21 (ANMC21) Plenary Meeting
- Ninth Working Level Meeting Held in Tomsk -

The ANMC21 Plenary Meeting will be held in Tomsk this year. In preparing for the success of this event which is to be held in the city for the first time, discussions were held with member cities focusing on the plenary meeting themes. Furthermore, Tokyo's staff members at the meeting visited a familiar location for Japanese people while in Tomsk.
