New Measures to Introduce the Attraction of Major Asian Cities to One Another
- Mutual Tourism Promotion Being Conducted Through Intercity Cooperation –

Starting this year, as part of the “Welcome to Asia Campaign” which is one the Asian Network of Major Cities 21 (ANMC21) joint projects, the Council for Promotion of Tourism in Asia* has commenced mutual tourism promotion through intercity cooperation. By each member city introducing the attractions of other member cities, and making appeals widely to the general public, the project aims to encourage tourists to visit the member cities. This year, four member cities are conducting mutual tourism promotion. Tokyo conducts tourism promotion of Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Hanoi, and in return, these three cities conduct Tokyo tourism promotion.

On this occasion we would like to introduce the posters that have already been displayed by Tokyo in conducting tourism promotion campaigns for the other member cities. We would also like to show the Tokyo tourism promotion that was conducted in Kuala Lumpur.
