Representatives (Mayor or Governor) from member cities gather to convene a plenary meeting once each year in principle.

■The First Working-Level Meeting

The first working-level meeting of the Asian Network of Major Cities 21 (ANMC21) was convened in Bangkok on November 21 and 22, 2006. Member cities gathered to discuss the “joint project review”, which the Taipei Plenary Meeting of April 2006 decided to conduct to further enhance joint project activities. The conference compiled an interim report on the joint project review (draft).
The outcome of the joint project review will be reported to the Sixth Plenary Meeting in Metropolitan Manila, scheduled for November 2007.

* Myanmar participated as observer, while Hanoi was absent.
